A video too controversial for YouTube

Won't Get Caught Again!

I have a past with YouTube censorship.

I started my YouTube channel in April 2017. It was focused purely on cryptocurrencies. My channel grew and grew during the bull run later that year, and my future as a successful vlogger seemed assured. My channel had quickly grown to 25,500 subscribers. Then in June 2018 YouTube deleted about 80 of my videos on the grounds that I had violated their community guidelines. Another 80 were deleted in December of that year. I appealed every single deletion and lost every single appeal. I still have no idea what my specific violation was. YouTube never made it clear.

My channel started shrinking, and my views dropped and have never recovered. I have had a couple of videos deleted since, mostly because I am not a photosynthesis denier. Those videos were controversial. Understandably, I am wary of censorship and have posted videos about climate change and COVID etc on Odysee, Rumble, and Bitchute.

In November last year, at my son’s insistence, we created the Rich Does Politics channel, which, thanks to you, is growing steadily. I have not had any videos censored, although one did get demonetised for reasons I cannot remember right now. Apart from that, the algorithm has been kind to the new channel.

We have decided that despite YouTube relaxing its censorship policy in general, this video is too controversial for YouTube.
